Got a text sent through PickUp Health?
Healthcare providers use PickUp Health to send care-related texts to patients and caregivers who have agreed to receive them. Most texts come in your provider's name. A few service messages, such as enrollment confirmations, may come from PickUp Health itself.

- You gave your mobile number to your healthcare provider and agreed to receive care texts from them, sent through PickUp Health, or you texted the number your provider gave you and replied YES to confirm.
- What we send
- Appointment reminders, follow-up and check-ins from your care team, and replies to messages you send us. Never marketing.

- Message frequency varies with your care.

Business associate under HIPAA
We handle patient information for healthcare providers under written business associate agreements. Your provider's Notice of Privacy Practices applies.
Vendors under the same rules
Service providers that handle protected health information for us sign business associate agreements first.
Care messages only
We contact patients only about their care. We do not send marketing to patients and we do not sell personal information.
People oversee the technology
We use automated and AI-assisted tools with oversight by trained personnel. We tell you when you are interacting with an automated system. Clinical decisions stay with your care team.
